The final season of Netflix’s hit drama is its most controversial yet, as it begins with a portrayal of Princess Diana’s final years, her ill-fated romance with Dodi Fayed, and the perceived iciness of the Royal family in the wake of her death…not to mention her return as a ghost! The new romance of college students Kate Middleton and Prince William will be featured along with the wedding of King Charles III and Camilla. Reviews have been rough on it — “a soapy dive into the abyss” (The Guardian) — but that won’t deter the three to four generations at your holiday events from watching it — and discussing it. The first four episodes drop Nov. 16th, with the second batch arriving in time for holiday breaks (Dec 14th). Breakout the crumpets.
