Two Black teens fall in love for the first time in 2018 Los Angeles in this reimagining of the sexually frank 1975 Jude Blume novel adapted by Mara Brock Akil (The Game, Girlfriends).  Lovie Simone, Michael Cooper Jr., Karen Pittman, and Wood Harris lead the cast in what promises to be more of an “epic love story” about two athletes who have to decide their futures just as they face their first love. Blume herself has given her blessing on the series.
