The Fallout
During a school shooting massacre, a high school student (played by Jenna Ortega) is trapped in the bathroom with Mia (Maddie Ziegler) and Quinton (Niles Finch). In the aftermath of the trauma, she gravitates towards them and away from her best friend and her parents, and starts to redefine who she is and what she thinks about the world. A big winner at last year’s SXSW Film Festival, the film also stars Julie Bowen and Shailene Woodley.
