Script Magazine editor-in-chief Sadie Dean, Watercooler journalists, and Wes Anderson fans joined an after-watch conversation about The French Dispatch, “a love letter to journalists set in an outpost of an American newspaper in a fictional French city.”

The focus was on the script and story, which was unlike that of any other Anderson film, as it was “structured as an episodic obituary for a man, a publication, and an entire industry facing gradual extinction,” as the BBC explains it.
