The biggest show on any streaming service this month is Disney+’s latest Marvel series, Loki. It features an alternate version of Tom Hiddleston’s Asgardian trickster on a journey through time across the Marvel universe. According to the Time Variance Authority (or TVA) he has to fix the timeline he broke or he’ll be erased from existence. The explanation for how this happened has to do with the time-heist shenanigans in Avengers: Endgame, but really it’s just an excuse to keep one of the MCU’s most beloved characters in action. He may be officially dead, but is anyone ever really dead in the comic-book world? Don’t question it too much, just have fun! Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson are. (Wilson plays an analyst at the TVA responsible for observing and managing Loki.)
