Sweet Tooth

Summary:

This comic adaptation series from executive producer Robert Downey Jr. and writer-director Jim Mickle hearkens back to ‘80s fantasy adventure movies. It’s set in a post-apocalyptic America where a deadly virus has caused society to crumble, and babies started being born as “hybrids” of human and animal, for reasons no one knows. One hybrid, a deer-boy named Gus (Christian Convery), has lived his entire 10 years in the wilderness with his father (Will Forte), protected from the outside world. But after an upheaval of his life, he meets a big, tough man named Jepperd (Game of Thrones’ Nonso Anozie). Together they set out on a quest to find a place where there are other people like Gus, who Jepperd nicknames “Sweet Tooth.” It’s a well-made, entertaining show, but the real reason to watch it is Gus’ extremely cute deer ears. Every time they move you’ll go “awww.”
