Adapted from the Tony‑winning Broadway musical, which was born out of a 1976 novel, celebrated writer and director Bill Condon (Chicago, Gods and Monsters) is behind this Technicolor musical fantasy. Set in 1980s Argentina, a flamboyant window dresser shares a prison cell with a hardened political prisoner, and distracts them both by recounting an extravagant Hollywood musical starring the Spider Woman.
