A provocative, steamy class satire set in England about a young Oxford student (Barry Keoghan) who becomes infatuated with his upper crust classmate (Jacob Elordi) and gets invited to visit his eccentric family’s estate. “This is a film entirely about desire,” says writer-director Emerald Fennell, who won a screenwriting Oscar for Promising Young Woman, “and that desire takes every conceivable manifestation, and it’s so important.”
