Aggretsuko (Aggressive Retsuko)

What if Hello Kitty had an office job and a complex inner life? Aggretsuko, a cartoon series from Hello Kitty creator Sanrio, answers that question. Retsuko, the protagonist, is a cute red panda with a dead-end job in accounting. Polite and patient during the workday, she releases her frustrations in the evening when she sings death metal karaoke. The series skewers every type of annoying co-worker: the golf-loving, incompetent pig of a boss, the weasel who sucks up to him, the middle-aged hippopotamus, and the snake who takes credit for your work.
