The best predator film
Predator: Killer of Killers

In the wake of the surprisingly well-received 2022 film Prey, co-director Dan Trachtenberg took on this animated anthology version of the franchise, with each chapter following a powerful warrior during a different point in time—a Viking, a ninja, and a WWII pilot—as they fall prey to the monstrous beasts. It’s far from an indie, of course, but IndieWire‘s David Ehrlich is on board:  “An awesomely violent and artfully staged piece of animated pulp, Predator: Killer of Killers feels like a movie that was dreamed up by a couple of stoned teenage boys in a suburban basement one night during the summer of 1987…” (Read his whole review)  That about captures the audience for it.
