All We Imagine as Light

The first Indian film to win the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival, All We Imagine as Light follows the lives of two nurses in modern day Mumbai who’ve become unlikely roommates – one separated from her husband after an arranged marriage, the other younger and dating a Muslim man as Islamaphobia rises around them, and both swerving into a dream-like world that has something to say about the loneliness of big city lives.
